I am starting by leaving personal messages about this Youtube blitz on guest books on this website only. I have sent only 15 so far. I want you to know that I am not going for a publicity stunt by tagging on to other people's work. My main intent was for us, her devoted fans,to do something for Ms Ysabella's birthday that might hopefully rock some worlds. This is something we could do without being subversive or devious or leeching off others. I do not reccommend violating any laws or website policies to make this happen.

I was thinking more along the lines of each person going to the Youtube website and having a Ysabella Brave marathon viewing on December 4. I am hoping each person would also invite friends and family to do the same.

I could use some help contacting members on this site. We only have 1700+ to contact. Anyone want to help?

I honestly don't think we can contact 35,000 fans worldwide, but we can try. I correspond with hundreds of them, which is more than I can keep up.

As you say, we can at least mobilize our Ysabellabrave dot com people, so let's add about another five hundred to a thousand from our own sandbox.

A collab video would realistically, probably not include more than 35 people if we're lucky, but that would be very cool, and it might get some Youtube buzz.

My whole objective here is to do a massive THANK YOU on her birthday and show the flag. Blitzing Youtube and shutting it down is a deliciously subversive corollary idea, and I'm all in favor, .

Whatever we do, we need to get busy, network with all our friends and make something happen.

Rascal_86 has the right idea. Let's go for that as our primary target and follow up with a video and personal messages to encourage people to send birthday wishes.
No matter what we do, whether it's one thousand or ten or fifty thousand people involved, we will rock this joint like never before. Let's do it. Not because we can, but because she and her message matter.

Typical manipulation techniques used to pump statistics on YouTube are generally less than ethical and would be beneath Ysabella Brave. We should operate in a prudent, deliberate manner in order to avoid casting any shadows on her impeccable reputation.

We can certainly initiate an e-mail campaign with the membership here. As this is the fan site dedicated to Ysabella Brave, any promotional letter sent to members could not be considered Hormel Foods Corporation’s spiced ham product. If you are interested, I could begin framing a form letter to get out to the membership.

Rascal_86, if you do not object, perhaps you could post your YouTube site url to the Random-Talk/YouTube addresses! message board. There will be logistical issues we must deal with on a daily basis that are probably not appropriate to post to this forum. They would be better resolved through e-mail.

Rascal--86: No problem; I was the one who exposed my own plan! And my video idea is more of a tribute than a blitz. I think it's possible and correct to send a mass, global bulletin to all of our subscribership on this website. I just haven't learned how to do it yet. That's a fair game idea.

I can also do a bulletin to all of my subscribers on Youtube, but that's not very many. However, many Ysabellabrave subscribers are also on my subscriber list, so maybe we can form a human chain.

If all else fails, a general post to the message board in the final days before December 4 should do it. But I do agree with personal messages; they are the mose effective and persuasive.

The last ditch idea would be for me or someone to do a video tag post to her latest works, but I have always been uncomfortable with tagging someone else's videos without being on topic to the song being presented. The ethics of this bothers me. In fact, I have never done it before. Too many tag videos are self-serving spam for the poster's own purposes and causes.

The only way I could do this is with YB's blessing, and that of course negates the spontaneity of this project. LisaNova, a popular comedienne whom I admire, did something like this last year, glomming on to some subscriber lists to build her own circulation, and she was slammed for it. IN NO WAY do I want YB to be involved with this! She will obviously know about it, but we must do it on our own, and with sincerity.

Sorry, Mr Robertson. Didn't mean to expose your plan. Could we mount a campaign to contact all the members on their personal profile pages and invite them to join our campaign. I thin apersonal touch would be awesome! I don't get much computer time, so I would really need some help to get this part going.
