Greetings: Lucidus, TR is the lucky one. He gets to look at her all day and all night long. Also, he is probably appreciative of her quoting him on her YouTube site. Perhaps I am wrong, but I always remember TR looking more to his right than he does now. Perhaps he turned his head for that ultimate pleasant vista. It might not be the first head that was turned in the presence of Ysabella Brave. I believe she can move mountains on her beauty alone. I had to use mechanical and chemical devices ...... more

Greetings: I took Bill's comment for what it is -- a lament of our loss of all those wonderful cover songs. Nevertheless, I would love to jump on the Bill Bashing Bandwagon (gotta love alliteration)! Bill, you are a scoundrel and rumor monger! [I would challenge you to a duel, but it is my understanding that it would render you unable to hold public office in Kentucky. Also, I just happen to be the installed Chairman of the American Poltroon Association.] Ahhhh . . . that felt good! Of cours...... more

Greetings: My father also played the piano, a product of the swing era. World War II intervened, and he never did play in a band outside of high school. He played classic swing and jazz tunes at home for my seven siblings and me as we grew up. I never had the hand/eye coördination to play. My older sister was able to master the beast. The piano remains my favorite musical instrument. Your pal, Clamchucker... more

Greetings Bill McGraw, Ysabella Brave's cover songs are no longer available to us. Following the suspension of her YouTube channels in December, 2008, due to copyright issues, all cover songs were removed from YouTube. The videos listed here are linked to the old YouTube pages, which no longer exist. All of Ysabella Brave's original music and most of her comedy and talk videos are still available here and on YouTube. For the latest information on Ysabella Brave, as well as fan and community ac...... more

The Bobertsoncat [Lynx Vinum Cooperus] A denizen of vineyards and wineries, the Bobertsoncat is well suited for its natural environment, the Napa Valley of Central California, North America. It is famous for consuming wine. Although it occasionally obtains its wine from bottles, it generally prefers to do so from wooden casks or barrels. It has been known to migrate as far east as western and central Europe in search of barrels. The Bobertsoncat has a very big heart and displays a marked to...... more

The Po’ Hen [Aviatorus Fedexus Povertius] A tragic figure is the Po’ Hen, with its nest continuously hacked and plundered by the ever devious Uppsalamander [Caudata Andersus Uppsalus]. It feeds primarily on Post brand Honey Bunches of Oats cereal, as well as Starbucks iced coffee, which it collects and hoards in a miserly fashion. Markings on its wings resemble the numbers three, five, and seven. Unlike the Guinea Hen [Numida Meleagris], which is a flightless bird, the Po’ Hen has been obser...... more

Greetings: It would be my guess that YouTube (Google) dumped the Streaming Rooms because they are a redundancy and they want users on Google Wave. They were, in effect, competing with themselves. As far as complaining goes, I imagine it will do us no good, as is the case with all webernet mega-corporations. As the old joke goes, "The YouTube Complaint Department Supervisor is Helen Waite. If you wish to complain to YouTube, go to Helen Waite." Your pal, Clamchucker... more

    Thank you Clamchucker:
I was not aware of the mail section on this site, never noticed the mail icon. I saved all her original songs and any that were posted under different names from fans on Youtube and other WWW sites. To date I managed to save a total of 50 music videos, which I backed up in two formats.
I do not like to copy the work of others, but losing the ability to watch some of my favorites was a wakeup call. I’m old school and have always paid for my extensive music and movie collections. I which it were possible to just purchase YB’s work on cd and dvd. But until that happens, I had to take the other route, find downloader and converter programs to save as much of her work as possible for my enjoyment.
I am on a quest to gather YB’s work because she is such a rare and gifted talent not to mention a joy to the eyes. I do not want to take the chance that someday she may just give up on the “MACHINE” and leave us. Her classy style and her interpretation of the old and new songs will never be matched. I made a separate folder of her songs converted to wmv format so I can play them on Windows Media Player or Media Center which I patch to my entertainment center. In wmv format I have the ability to pick and choose her videos or just select shuffle play for all fifty in random order.
I have recently located another web site with many of her now banned covers. I hope to find a downloader for that site before they to, vanish forever. I could join that site and download at will, but I will not pay a fee for YB’s hard work if she doesn’t get paid for it.
Thank you again for your response, now on with my quest on the www

Are you on this website often enough to catch the new members? If you could, welcome them to the website and leave them a message about blitzing Youtube on December 4. That would help me out quite a bit. Maybe go back about to June or Whatever you can handle. I am trying to recruit Ole Olsen to contact all the European and worldwide fans. Can you help me with the US fans?

Clamchucker: What's your Youtube account name? I would like to sign on to your channel. --Bob Robertson, "Bobchai"

Here's one of my uploads, from Ian Whitcomb, a 1960s British pop star who is now one of the world's foremost musicologists on music of the early 20th century, including the pre WWI English music hall stuff. He earned a Grammy in 1998 for his work as a consultant on the film, 'Titanic' (not the title tracks, but the music of the passengers in steerage. He has graciously given me the copyright permission to upload his works, and he even has sent me some instrumental tracks of some of his own compositions, so that I may Karaoke them, when I get around to it. (I recently fried my $600 Panasonic digital camera by plugging it into the wrong battery charger). ---Bob

I see you've just joined. Welcome aboard this lifeboat! (you joined on my birthday). I really enjoy your intelligent writing style and it appears that we have some other interests in common. I grew up in Bucks County, Pennsylvania, studied and married in Mexico, and have been involved in the Napa wine industry for over half my life now. My Youtube channel, "Bobchai", is dedicated to what I call "forgotten music" of the early 20th century -- not just jazz and blues but dance music, like Cole Porter ("Let's Misbehave"). The latter song was what brung me to this dance. That and "Anything Goes". I was hooked. Hardly a day goes by when I'm not thinking of one of her songs. YB has only made one public appearance, as far as I am aware, at a Youtube gathering in San Francisco in February 2007. That's where I met her, and the picture I use here was taken. We also have corresponded a number of times by e-mail, discussing her career and spiritual matters.
Happy to make your acquaintance! --Bob Robertson (and I use my real name here, because when I signed up, I filled out the registration without including a Username. But I don't give a %%%%; I've participated on may other Internet boards for years, and my identity has always been transparent. I have never been harrassed or stalked; I'm in the Napa phone book).
